This was a wonderful flight from Ed -> Mission -> Ed. This is my first "Golden Eagle", and something I've been trying to do for years.

Weather was saying a great top of lift, with westerly winds (good for Ed -> Mission), with a slight north component but best top of lift at 3pm.

Launch was interesting, got plucked a little and was up and away. Took me a little to find the lift to head north, then was riding above the top ridge the entire way.

The new Swift made pushing through sinky parts on bar very doable and not nerve wracking at all.

Did the flight with Damon Hardwick, who gave me some tips on it being an easy glide to Mission if we can get half way up a big commanding spine unless fighting a big headwind.

Decided that I really wanted to golden eagle, so as soon as I flew over Mission Peak, turned around and head back, finding lots of lift on the way.

Today the glider felt great. I'm feeling it likes to have some slight more input on the break toggles perhaps to avoid wingtip flutters.
