Prevailing wind was a little south. Was making sure the newer pilots got off the hill first before I did. A little on by the time I left.
Day was fun. Some task involving heading to the flags and back. After that went south to challenge myself. Went further past the ridge than I did last time, but it was a lot harder pushing south. When I started getting to the big ridge, I felt a lot of sink and knew I’d arrive very low.
Came back, not as far to the mines, but wanted to explore the dragon a little more. Easy glide to the beach.
Spoke to two other pilots, one who set the site record for a female pilot with 120km out and back. Amazing! They said that it was a smart call with it being south and maybe tomorrow, so, I’m hoping!!!
